untitled [lute song 4]

Thank you everybody for your nice feedback on my lute adventures so far. This week, I was trying to pair the lute with drum beat and (towards the end) an S/H synth. Vocals are here, too, but more of a quick lyrics job. I'm working on the right hand groove, still. I recorded all the lute parts first and then put the beat under it. Next time it would probably be better to record the lute over the beats to get the feel right.

As for the gif, I don't even know that lady. But groovy, y'all. Have a nice week!

Additions to the lute work surprisingly well!

Groovy! Probably the most interesting lute-based tune I've heard this year! smile

I think she is Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, y'all! (Gorgeous)

This one is clearly more rhythmic driven. Mein Deustchspage ist nicht jeztz gut genug, aber ich verstehe ein Bischen. Du hast eine schöne Stimme.

The ending synth adds a lot of low end and sits fantastically with the lute. Unusual elements very well mixed. I wish I could sample your firts two bars: that phrase could be a hell of a good loop.

Thank you laguna! I think I'm going to try more synth/lute next week, I agree the bass in the end is kinda the best part.

Also, sample away! I'd be honored to see what you come up with!

Very nice tune. Great vocals and melody. and I love the outro.

great songwriting! From lyrics over instrumental skills to recording and production. I like the outcome very much!

I love this. Your use of counterpoint is excellent too. Fav'd so I don't miss your contributions...
